Malay Game

Was known as the biggest gamefowl breed. In the United States specimin have been seen reaching an impressive height of 90 Cm (3 feet. Today the breed is suffering from improper breeding, selection and judging criteria. Malay Breeders tend to select for the extreme high stationed and elegant type. (original) Breed features: high stationed, strong legs and thighs, a massive head and beak with very prominent eyebrows, walnut comb. Wings are positioned on the back. Since the end of the 19th century the Malay is bred with a socalled -3 curve- profile (neck, back and tail-line). Weight 4 to 5 Kg (8.8 to 11 Lbs). Breed objective: a high stationed strong build massive bird with a -bad boy-look.
